- MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING
The minutes of the last meeting were agreed.
- VISITING MEMBERS' QUERIES
A number of residemts are concerned about a proposal for a developmemt involving 42 flats on the site of 268-274 Hook Road. Although the proposals have no windows on the north and south sides of the structure, there will still be a loss of privacy. The provision of 38 car parking spaces is insufficient for the number of flats. Traffic from the development will exit close to the existing pedestrian crossing. The development is also in excess of the existing government guidelines on density. It is likely that the construction and use of the development will increase the level of noise in the vicinity. It is also a backland development and out of keeping with the area. We will object to the application.
